<p>From the gas pump to the grocery store, we're all feeling the pinch. I'll advocate for tax holidays on groceries, gas, and cell phone bills when the county fund balance sits above a sustainable level.</p>

<h2>Tax Holidays and Inflation Relief</h2>

<p>If Big Tech wants to come to the North Country, we need iron clad guarantees that we will see benefits, not empty promises that they have a history of breaking.</p>

<h2>Supporting Data Center Moratoriums</h2>

<p>Cutting essential services has impacts that reverberate far beyond a spreadsheet. We need to take care of each other more, not less.</p><p>I'll restore funding for home health services, substance abuse treatment programs, and mental health services. I'll fight for Medicaid recipients being impacted by impending federal cuts, and make sure that none of our neighbors fall through the cracks, because in St. Lawrence County <strong>we take care of our own.</strong></p>

<p>As a doctor, I know firsthand what good medical care looks like. Years of cuts to mental health care, home health, and substance abuse programs have left our friends and families less healthy and less safe.</p>
